About Big Bass Cluster Catch
This is a small, independent site about one game: Big Bass Cluster Catch, the upcoming fishing slot from Pragmatic Play’s Big Bass series. We are not a casino, we don’t take bets, and we have no connection with Pragmatic Play or Reel Kingdom. The site exists because new Big Bass releases arrive often, and the pages that appear around them tend to repeat each other’s guesses before anyone has seen a paytable.
Our aim is simple: say what is known, say clearly what isn’t, and update the moment real information appears.
Who writes it
Every article here is written by Owen Penhallow, our slots editor. He reads the rules screen of a game before he looks at a trailer, and he keeps notes on each Big Bass release so he can say what has changed from one to the next. You will find his short biography below.
How we test a slot
For a game that hasn’t launched, testing means checking sources. We look at what the provider has published, what game databases such as SlotCatalog list, and whether two independent sources agree. If they don’t, we say so or leave the figure out.
Once a game is out, the process changes:
- We play the official demo for at least a few hundred spins at a fixed stake and keep a log.
- We read the full rules screen and compare the RTP shown at several UK-licensed casinos, because operators can pick different settings.
- We play real-money sessions with small stakes and a set budget, the same way we suggest readers do.
- We rewrite the page, replacing every ‘not yet published’ with a real figure or an honest explanation.
What we will never do
- Invent an RTP, a max win or a release date to make a page look complete.
- Embed a different game and call it the Cluster Catch demo.
- Promise strategies that beat a slot. Results are random and the house keeps an edge.
- Recommend casinos without a Gambling Commission licence.
How the site is paid for
Some buttons on this site are affiliate links. If you follow one to a casino and sign up, we may receive a commission. That money pays for hosting and writing time. It doesn’t change the score, and no casino or provider can pay to alter what we write. Affiliate links are always marked as such in the code and pass through our own redirect page, so you can see when you are leaving the site.
Corrections and updates
A preview will contain gaps by design, and occasionally a mistake. When Pragmatic publishes official details, or a reader points out an error, we correct the page and change the update date at the top. The preliminary score will be replaced by a full rating after release, and we will say so on the page rather than quietly swapping numbers.
Why a site about one game
Big lobby sites cover hundreds of releases a month, which leaves little time to go back and check a game once the hype has passed. Focusing on a single title lets us do the slow part properly: follow the release from the first listing to launch day, compare what different casinos actually offer, and keep the page accurate months later. If Big Bass Cluster Catch gets a patch, a new RTP version or a sequel, this is where you will read about it.
Our sources
For facts we rely on the provider first, then on established game databases and the rules screen inside the game. For UK rules we go to the Gambling Commission’s own guidance. We name the source next to any figure that isn’t yet confirmed by Pragmatic, so you can judge how much weight to give it.
Safer gambling
This site is for adults aged 18 and over. If gambling is causing you problems, our safer gambling page lists free help, including the National Gambling Helpline on 0808 8020 133. You can read how we handle data in our privacy policy.
Owen Penhallow
New-release slots writer
Owen Penhallow is the slots editor of this site and works from Falmouth in Cornwall. He has followed the Big Bass series since the first game arrived in December 2020 and keeps a running record of how each release changes the fisherman, the fish values and the free spins round. His method is the same for every new Pragmatic Play title: read the paytable and rules first, play the official demo on the day it opens, then compare the RTP settings that UK-licensed casinos actually offer. He plays with small stakes and a fixed budget, and he would rather leave a figure out than print one he can’t source.
